Big news! The second album release on Slow Worm Records is incoming!
In this collision of musical worlds, electronic musician and composer Bethany Misselbrook carves out enough space and light for Kath Roberts’ violin to breathe amongst influences as diverse as birdsong, musique concrète and Indonesian Gamelan.
Suite for Solo Violin and Software Abuse is a collection of nine pieces which share a bedrock of atmospheric granular synthesis. This creates fertile ground for neo-classical violin to harvest some compelling melody.
The album is released 22nd May 2022 on Slow Worm Records, on DL, streaming and limited run clear 10” hand-lathe-cut Vinyl.

Paddi Benson and Grace Lemon are two highly acclaimed Uilleann Pipers who met in London’s thriving folk music scene. They paired up to write new music and explore the boundaries of piping, interchanging motifs and layering voices so that the two sets of pipes serve as accompaniment to each other. Having since joined forces with guitarist and fiddler James Patrick Gavin to form a trio, their debut piece is a conceptual response to the patient ballroom dances that took place at Bethlem Hospital (Bedlam) throughout the 19th century. Coming soon!
